As of the time of writing this article, 2023 has 8.22% left. And this year has shown a promising future for Web 3; we’ve witnessed the impact of Generative AI and the massive turnout at the Token 2049 Conference held in early September in Singapore, with over 300 exhibitors and 10,000 attendees. This signifies that the adoption of blockchain technology is fast-growing, and more people are willing to learn the new technological way of life.

With this aggressive, fast absorption of blockchain technology, comes the need for more skilled professionals to develop the systems that will fulfill the promise of self-controlled data and a trustless system, and others who ensure the right blockchain technology meets the right audience in need of it. This article lists a few fields that are likely to see more demand for their expertise during the bull run and Bitcoin halving in 2024.

1. Smart Contract Auditor:

As crypto hacks are on the rise, the need for analysts who can analyze contract codes to identify security discrepancies and inconsistencies in the code and provide possible fix solutions to the problems is growing.

2. Blockchain Engineer:

The continuous growth of blockchain technology rests on the shoulders of blockchain developers who are responsible for developing decentralized apps (Dapps) and smart contracts and also building blockchain platforms.

3. Community Manager:

Projects developed on the blockchain network are very different from what we are already used to presently. Communities are built around the projects for users to learn about the project and engage with others. Community managers are responsible for the smooth running of the community.

4. UX/UI Designer:

Every technology developed needs to be interacted with by its target audience. This is where UX/UI (User Experience/ Users Interface) engineers come in. They build the platform that allows the users to interact with the technology, also ensuring the smooth experience of the users.

5. Technical Writer:

After developing the technology and building the platform with which the users will interact with the technology, a technical writer comes in to explain how the technology works and how you can use it.

6. Digital Marketer:

Digital Marketers are responsible for merging the technology with the right audience. Find the right group of people who might need that technology and show them how the technology will solve their problems.

7. Social Media Manager:

They manage the social media networks of the project. Share new information about the project with its audience, and address complaints of users as well.

8. Graphics Designer:

Trusted with the responsibility of designing graphical representations of information to be served to the audience, such as project updates.

9. Project Manager:

A project manager is one who organizes, plans, monitors, controls, and sees to the execution of the project from start to finish.

10. Product Manager:

A product manager is responsible for ensuring the product meets the needs of its target audience through market research, project planning and strategy, roadmap, project lifecycle, and customer feedback.

2024 looks promising for Web 3; there will be more adoption, which means more room for job opportunities for Web 3 skilled professionals, not just those mentioned in this article but across all boards. It is important to be prepared and await the opportunities that are about to hit the market. This is an opportunity to make your impact in the world of blockchain technology.
